February 25, 2008 at 8:56 amgreat video carla! and your arms ROCK!!! I wish mine looked like that! 🙂 Which they probably would if I could stay away from the Thin Mints and other crap! Like you said, it’s more about eating clean. (sigh)

February 25, 2008 at 10:07 amTotally not the point – but your kitchen rocks!
I might actually get on the floor and try it if not for the pregnant thing…but then again maybe I could do them anyway? Hmmm…might have to do a little googling. Is it stupid that I think any weird movement will dislodge the kid? Maybe I’ll stick to walking for another 4 or 5 months and dig this video up when I am depressed about still wearing maternity clothes post-birth-giving.

February 25, 2008 at 11:15 amjulie? can I hire you as a full time personal cheerleader? Id adore you following behind me 24/7!
workout mommy–dare I say that those are great once a week? I do believe it’s about eating clean with a good dollop of JUNK once a week to keep yer body guessing.
and michelle? oooh, I shall take that kitchen compliment gladly as the MizFit sucketh at decorating. and Ill look for you as well with the pregnancy stuff—I know immediately what I think the recommendations are but want to check.

February 25, 2008 at 3:49 pmHi there,
Nice to meet you in person… sort of 🙂
I should get down the floor sometimes too, right now I’m just doing walks (you know what nordic walking is? Walking with sticks? …Yes, we Swedish people are crazy 🙂
I kind of lost the inspiration for working out when I moved to a small town.. No fancy gyms here… Hmm, that’s no excuse for not doing sit-ups… I should do it right now! Or maybe tomorrow… It’s bedtime now over here.
I’ll be watching out for more videos!

February 25, 2008 at 6:58 pmOh, so many things to say and so little time.
First, Jules is right – You rock!
Second, agree w/workoutmom – kick chickenbus arms.
Third, Michelle is right, too…love the kitchen, and am drooling over the lovliness of the dark floors. Mmmmm. Also, M? If you don’t want to risk the crunches I will do them for you til the wee one arrives. I’m enjoying the virtual pregnancy and would hate for you to not be able to blog b/c you’ve pulled a muscle and are, you know, writhing in agony or something. I’m nice and selfish like that. Hee!
Fourth, Anna – hi! I see people walking in my ‘hood with the sticks so I too am intrigued. They probably make good sense around here, what with all the snow and ice and hills.
And now I want the shoes. Do the gold ones sparkle at all? Prrrrrrrrrrr.
And yo, MizFit? Where is the Oscar recap?? Who do you pick for best/worst dressed???

A
MIZFIT
LAUGH.
I struggle. Might I be catty with ya’ll or should I be forevah kind?
Cameron Diaz? what the frick happened to your hair?!
Jessica IM NOT A LATINA Alba? I cant see past what I think is your unattractive, icky INTERIOR.
Tilda Swinson? Ive never seen you in a movie—might I lure you to star in some good tween trash? no?—but you KICK ASS.

February 25, 2008 at 7:49 pmI’m with ya. CD should have done what everyone else does (ride in the limo naked? bring a travel steamer?) and not had a wrikle-y dress. Although I still wouldn’t have liked it. Weird makeup, too.
I liked Heigel’s simplicity over Hathaway’s flair, tho in a pinch I must admit I would’ve worn either one. And of course Miley. So cute and refined and yet age appropriate. TAKE NOTES, JAMIE-LYNN.
Tilda? Not sure what you were wearing but I loved you in Michael Clayton and I adore your name.
Klum? Over the top. (I love red, and it was a lovely gown, but a wee bit too much for a supermodel, don’t we think? Maybe go for understated elegance next time.) J.Garner? Dress was nice but your boobs looked trapped. C.Blanchett? Love you, dress was better than Alba’s. Although I thought the second Elizabeth sucked. Girl from Juno? Dying to see your flick, but heavens to betsy child, did you have to wear an unflattering sack? See MILEY above for tips. G.Clooney’s girlfriend? WTF. Some sort of paper doll dress made from powder room wallpaper.

February 25, 2008 at 8:58 pmOkay, didn’t see Michael Clayton but wasn’t that Tilda chick the ice queen in Narnia? Not tween trash but it was a good movie.
Oh, and Michelle…you will still be wearing maternity clothes post birth giving. Get used to the idea now. Unless you look like MizFit or are one of those annoying people who wear cute little trendy tops over their teeny tiny baby bump bellies you will be amazed at how pregnant you will still look after giving birth. I knew I would still be bigger but was completely unprepared to still look totally pregnant.
Somehow I seem to have gotten off topic here. Sorry!!

February 25, 2008 at 9:50 pmI liked that demonstration! My neck hasn’t been bothering me, but I do put my arms behind my head when I do crunches…your way looks just as good, so might as well head the pain off before it happens. 🙂

February 25, 2008 at 10:59 pmHA! I had that exact thought about Cameron. I do hope she did it herself, and didn’t shell out any coin for that ‘do.
Yep, I was doing them wrong.
but you already knew that.

February 26, 2008 at 5:01 amGibb? I need to check that out. I have fantasy-issues (read: those book bore me for some reason) but I love me some Tilda. I love anyone who walks the carpet so amazingly sans-makeup.
Zandria, that’s precisely why I stopped holding my hands behind by head. A prophylactic 🙂 measure.
Karen? great minds (cameron) and strong abs (now that youre doing em right!).
