March 9, 2012 at 4:35 amMost years I would be jealous of your winter, Miz, but it has been wonkey here in NYC and warm!
Good idea about climbing that big rock.
Now YOU do it π
I enjoyed the vlogs this week!!!

March 9, 2012 at 4:40 amI do much simpler moves than you do~like using the thing around the mulch as a balance beam is always fun to walk and do ballet moves or yoga poses on~LOL! And then silly drills with the kids~short running races, or walking backward/forward, skipping, sideways pivots… I’m heavier and am sure I look WAY goofier! And my step-ups are on the mulch thing too~you are WONDER WOMAN on that bench!!!!!!
Izzy says
March 9, 2012 at 4:47 amI did laugh at the music.
You are MizFit the Exercise Clown.
GREAT TIPS.
I’m not sure I’d ever do this as I’d be too embarrassed, but it is all good to know.

March 9, 2012 at 4:56 amI love playground workouts. I don’t do them all to often, but when we lived in queens we would stop in the middle of our run and do some of those things in the park. Need to do this more!
Tiff @ Love Sweat and Beers says
March 9, 2012 at 5:01 amI like how you say to “invite your onlookers.” I always get a little embarrassed when I have onlookers, but I don’t know why. Just a fit chick getting more fit, nothin’ to see here people, move along… π
Tara Burner says
March 9, 2012 at 5:07 amI wanna go to the playground!!!
Brittany @ Itty Bits of Balance says

March 9, 2012 at 5:58 amThere is plenty to keep you active in a playground. I usually just end up doing the slide and climbing things, but this looks fun too. This video made me think of something. One time my fiancee went on a long uphill hike in the Great Smoky Mountains. On our uphill trek, we passed 2 women who turned this hike into a fitness marathon of sorts. They alternated from walking lunges, to running backwards, to sprints, to walking, and so on. It was a very steep climb, so the walking lunges must have been brutal. Looked like a blast and a nice challenge though!

March 9, 2012 at 6:07 amYou have the best videos! Such great ideas! There’s really no excuse not to workout! Anywhere, any time! π
Barbara says
March 9, 2012 at 6:23 amI wonder how many lunges I could do to a fatigue level….hmmmm. Also need to find a low bar like that for modified pull ups.
Those are all great ideas!

March 9, 2012 at 9:11 amI think my heart rate elevation purely from the sheer terror that ensues from the fearlessness of my son at the park counts as a workout, no?

March 9, 2012 at 9:52 amWhen I goof out in the playground I always get dirty looks from parents. I still do though π
I don’t get the boingy noise when I do stuff tho π No fair!
