I was totally tempted to make some sort of a lame joke this morning.
A misfit’y play on words teasing IM THE GREATEST! about the fact I’m over at GREATIST sharing my story.
The problem is Im really proud of my post over there. No silliness. No joking. No snark.
Im so grateful they invited me to guest post because it compelled me to STOP, make the time to look back and clearly identify the steps I took toward weight loss.
Im so grateful they invited me to guest post because it forced me to slow down, look in the rearview mirror & really examine how I found my voiced amidst the dumbbells and resistance bands.
Id be so grateful if youd take a moment our of your hectic day & join me over there, too.
you know it! be proud! i loved the story!
It IS a really good post – your story is so inspirational. I am a longtime runner but newbie lifter, so I’m trying to keep things in perspective and know that the muscles will come eventually.
Yay! Great post! 🙂
Off to read…and then come up with my catch phrase. That has been nagging me. 😉
Loved it. Can’t post there, my computer is arguing with the site.
I love this story – especially the part about your husband talking about the way you walked – with confidence. that is HUGE. XXO
Great story indeed! I love the part about 20 minutes a day changing your whole life. Most people don’t realize that’s all it takes to get a new look and a new way of life.
I forgot to comment here- you know you are amazing don’t you!!! 🙂
FINALLY came up with my CATCH PHRASE…BTDTSDI (Been there done that, still doing it!)
Just wanted to say I loved reading that story!
LOVED reading this post on Greatist!! You inspire me so so so much and set a wonderful ex. for Tornado!
Great guest post. So fabulous to hear about how you discovered fitness. I must admit that lifting/strength training is one of my goals, but I am not doing well at it currently.
Maybe in 40 years I’ll be in the weight room with you (hope it doesn’t take me that long to get there.)
You rock! Loved that guest spot – such an inspiration!
