It’s about two things.
First? Im telling ya’ll if you havent bookmarked this site already go and do so now.
I’ll wait.
(*patiently chomps on some chia*)
Lisa is one of my fave fitness writers/bloggers and her site is a place I stop by daily to get myself pumped up to take on the world my life.
Next? skim this.
Because Lisa is such a great writer she was able to yank out my favorite quote (unbeknownst to her) from a long rambling email.
Read it. Repeat it. Learn it. Live it.
It really is all about taking up space in this world and *not* going unnoticed.
(the rest? mightcould be TMI about your MizFit. who can say?)

I read the WHOLE THING!!
MetRx? Really? Yuck. More for you, I guess.
And my sympathies on being the mother of a no-napper. My daughter slept 8-8, with a 12-4 nap. Although it must be nice for errand running to know she doesn’t need a nap.

March 27, 2008 at 2:11 pmdamn, the whole thing?

March 27, 2008 at 2:55 pmOk, I love your quote. Can I put it on my blog? “Skinny is weak and I’m not about to be a weak woman”. I LOVE IT!!!!
Kim says
March 27, 2008 at 3:02 pmYeah – I was just thinking that we may not be worthy to read or comment on the oh so famous MizFit blog much longer. 😉 Nice interview – and I actually learned something. (and 5:30 pm – really??? I guess you don’t go out much in the evening!!)
You know what my favorite part was – your list of items in the car for your 12 hour drive. I was happy to see that some candy was in the list. Alex and I both love cheese – so I may have to check out the Laughing Cow Cheese wedges.

you know I am all about my peeps. you know way more about the goings on of this household–here and in another country–than anyone should have to bear 🙂
(and kim DEFINITELY get the cheese. I love it on everything.)
Sure Eileen.
feel free to add NON-KNITTING in front of the last 2 words.

March 27, 2008 at 4:06 pmI found you from Workout Mommy…I totally agree, she is fantastic!
I’m loving that quote!!! I think I’m going to write it down and tape it over my weights!! You are totally inspiring.

March 27, 2008 at 4:39 pmLaughing cow cheese? Yum. Although I have to spread it on something (or stir it in with some hot rice–instant sauce).
Taking up space? Love it.
Famous Mizfit? Fabulous. Although I’m afraid this will interfere with my chances to win a Friday Freebie someday. *sigh*
Ooh, and I thought of a tip today. Remember (weeks ago?) someone was wondering about how to go back to work after a sweaty lunch workout. On my one full day of work a week, I’ve been trying to workout and came up with a great idea–baby wipes! When I change clothes in the bathroom stall, I do a quick wipe bath. Presto-chango stinky new-runner-lady enters the bathroom, babyfresh teacher-lady exits!

March 27, 2008 at 4:45 pmWelcome Renae! and thanks for the kind words.
Heather? 1. plain sisterfriend. crammed in mouth while toddler whines. it’s the only was to consume the cow! B. no interference. just SECRET your win. 2. Love the tip. you are now some sort of superhero teacher Do you don glasses and whip off your cape?

March 27, 2008 at 5:02 pmaw, now you are embarrassing me! Thanks for the shout out. And I seriously love the quote. I even lifted weights today, repeating in my head “I will not be weak, I will not be weak”
and tomorrow I’m sure I will be saying “I cannot raise my arms above my head” 🙂

The Bag Lady says
March 27, 2008 at 10:58 pmWell now. If skinny is weak, then from the size of her, the Bag Lady should be very, very strong!
Actually, she can lift two 5-gallon pails of oats and carry them across a muddy, shitty, rough, corral while being buffeted from all sides by hungry, oat-addicted 600 lb steers. (A 5-gallon pail full of oats weighs around 45 – 50 lbs) She does this every day. Then she collapses.
Loved the interview. You are an inspiration. Seriously.

In the article you talked about MetRX packets. Which supplements do you recommend and what do you mix them with?
I’m an avid reader of your site.. Keep it up!
