In a hot & humid land, there lived a MizFit.
A MizFit who wrote this post proclaiming her undying affection (if by undying you mean KINDA SORTA KEPT UNDER WRAPS UNTIL AFOREMENTIONED PROCLAMATION—which I do) for a certain Bravo television show.
A post about her desire and longing for the new season to start & to someday interview the star of the show, Jackie Warner.
Alas, our MizFit was disappointed.
The new season? Fraught with kissing and gratuitous ab-shots and virtually none of the success stories & trainer tips of yore.
The Warner? Chose not to respond to MizFit’s emailed pleas (in the form of silly Seussian poems no less).
And then, the Peeler stepped in.
Stepped up if you will.
Both as the new star of the show (in our MizFit’s never to be humble opinion) and as the sole encourager of our Bumbling Band.
His comment on this this week’s Monday Facetime?
Brian “PEELER” Says:
May 10th This is a very good at home workout for you ladies for getting started. You soon will have the arms you have always wanted. B.
The MizFit was very, very happy (& not just because rumor has it he’s in talks to do a workout show which is, well, about *working out*)
The End.

May 10, 2008 at 10:58 amholy cow, how did I miss a comment from Peeler?! (did anyone else cheer for him when he finally told her off?) I agree, the show has taken a weird and uncomfortable turn for me, I now fast forward to the working out clips (the few that there are) and skip the rest. I have enough drama in my own life, I don’t need to know theirs!

May 10, 2008 at 11:29 amI second Jacqueline’s motion!
Never heard of this show before. But the links make it look pretty cool.

May 10, 2008 at 11:56 amI’ve never heard of this show but how awesome is it that somebody from TV is reading your stuf??!? If you were on TV, I’d totally watch it:)

May 10, 2008 at 12:35 pmI used to LOVE that show, but now it’s just too much drama for my taste and not enough working out. I guess the target audience is drama addicts, not us workout nerds!
If you got your own show, I would work for you, no second thoughts 🙂
ps…I’m all better now!

May 10, 2008 at 1:21 pmAlas, I still have no cable, so I still haven’t seen the show. But awesome that Peeler is reading!

May 10, 2008 at 3:36 pmI loved peeler (and Jesse, the gay “pudgy” trainer i wish was my best friend). I agree, the show is a bit of a nose dive. That gym is actually almost across the stree from where i live, but its on the very top floor so i never knew it existed!

May 10, 2008 at 3:53 pmWow, Peeler commented?!!? How cool!
I agree with everyone. The show is no longer enjoyable. I wonder if Jackie realizes how poorly she looks: Peeler participates in a charity run while she indulges in her fantasy of converting every straight woman into her girlfriend on a free lesbian cruise? I’m definitely on Peeler’s team.
Then again, with all of the “celebrity” “feuds” out there, it does make me wonder if this is all planned for dramatic effect and commercial success…
MizFit says
May 10, 2008 at 4:12 pmWait, WHAT EDEN?!
You must do some recon for us…get a glimpse of the action and report back to the MizFits…you know, on what *really* is happening at the bootcamps & on that rooftop.

(And yes. Jesse? Love him. Love his snarkasm.)

May 10, 2008 at 5:45 pmI haven’t seen this show, but I’m all for you having a show of your own. 🙂

May 10, 2008 at 6:35 pmI’ve caught that show once or twice, (yes, both times I did give up my other plans and got sucked in, sigh). Maybe Mr. Peeler will step up to your interview?? 🙂

May 10, 2008 at 6:37 pmI think I’d rather watch the MizFit show, you could have one with Brian Peeler and I’d be your fatcamp client for sure!

May 11, 2008 at 12:19 amyes, i must sneak in that gym! but i am so uncool and broke, i wouldn’t fit in this high class gym (hell i belong to a gym where people use the pool to SHOWER, not swim!). I think all straight women need a jesse of sorts…

May 11, 2008 at 4:12 amGood idea, Dana.
I could gather all of your questions and see what he would answer!
If you click on his name by where Ive pasted his comment (in the post) it takes you RIGHT to his email.

May 11, 2008 at 9:19 amI loved Work Out circa seasons 1 & 2… Sadly, it still records on my DVR and I’m still sucked into watching it week after week. I am sad that they booted Zen from the show, because I thought she had her head on straight. Before Jackie ran things the way she wanted but it seemed to make some good sense, now it just seems like shes on a power trip. Sadly this was my hold out reality show that had some what normal acting lesbians… le sad.

May 11, 2008 at 12:59 pmOMG. OMG. OMG. Peeler read your blog. I feel like I’m sharing his same airspace by being here too.
I’m with you – has Work Out missed the mark this season or what.

May 11, 2008 at 3:07 pmI love me some Peeler. 🙂

May 11, 2008 at 5:55 pmMWL? That made me laugh.
Peeler is getting a bracelet—now I pray he wears it out of the house & is snapped by the paparazzi for the Stars? They’re just like us! page in Star mag.

May 11, 2008 at 7:34 pmI have loved Peeler since the first season… his snarkiness, his smile, his shaved head. Reminds me a bit of my own trainer…
How cool that he commented on your blog!
If he is not on future eps. of Work Out (and without all the actually working out..) why watch?
Zandria says
May 11, 2008 at 7:50 pmWell, if Jackie thinks she’s too good to be interviewed by the MizFit herself, then too bad for her! Very cool that Brian weighed-in. 🙂

May 12, 2008 at 6:28 amThat is awesome that “peeler” commented… I have yet to watch this year’s shows, but I was hooked last year… Disappointing that Miss Warner did not, however 🙁
