I LOVE that pedometer. I’ve done the challenge the last few years, and convinced my entire team to switch to the Omron pedometers because you could wear them in a pocket or in your bra! and still get accurate readings.
I friend my last winter.. may just have to treat myself to this new one.

May 18, 2008 at 1:55 pmso, just have to say that eysterday, I was exhausted from having thrown a bridal shower and wanted to sleep before the bach oarty at night but I got online for a bit, came here, read about the challenge, though ‘it would def do me some good to get 30 min of exercise today – i can do that’ and I took a short nap then went for a 4-mile run. THANKS!! Totally motivated me:-)

May 20, 2008 at 3:49 pmI use a different pedometer from Sportline that if you have the money to spend I highly recommend it. It is a watch that tells you not only the time but steps, distance, time spent walking, calories, and heart rate. It also has a stop watch and keeps a log of each days steps so you can look back. The only thing I don’t like about this watch is that if you sit for more than a 1/2 hour the pedometer turns off and you have to turn it back on. You don’t lose your steps which is good but many times I won’t realize it till I have walked pretty far. Anyway it’s about 100 bucks but I have seen it as low as 70 sometimes on Amazon.
