June 7, 2008 at 7:41 amYou know, maybe you are right. Not so much about this but about picking something like this to motivate me. When I did the Avon 3 day I had to train so I had to find the time for it. Maybe that is the key.

June 7, 2008 at 7:50 amI need to recall where I read this….as I’m certain it’s not mine…but sometimes it’s good to simply *train as if* you were going to compete as a motivator (or, for me, organizing force to my workouts).
Perhaps depositing a dollar/whatever you can afford in a jar each time you workout and sending THAT to a charity at the end of the WOMAN Challenge!

June 7, 2008 at 11:49 amWow – I like your last comment idea – depositing money in a jar each time you workout and then giving it to a worthy cause . . . like one of the prominent diseases in my family, and the major motivating reason I’m getting healthy!

June 7, 2008 at 3:20 pmKelly T- your butt won’t let you?????????? Girl, you need a decent saddle and a chamois and it might. Team in training has a great program to do for charity- it’s a coached running, cycling, or triathlon plans. Kicker is you have to raise a ton of money.
As far as the breast cancer pink tour on bikes, sounds awesome. Too bad I live in So. Cal. Who’s doing it?
