to do lists all on my desk.
caint I get a moment’s rest?
pets they whine. clamour. shout.
WE ARE READY. Let us out.
Im too busy to make haste.
messing with my putty face.
yet I smile. love my life.
(could optimism cause me strife?!)
I caint see that it is bad
*more* depleting to be sad.
(with the lifeview need some helps?
as with all things ask the Phelps!)
of the weekend Im now thinking
(yours include some bar-time drinking?)
Happy Friday to you all—
& if you need me simply CALL!
*please to note for some reason the LET US OUT site is running slower than molasses in winter time I do. Not sure why. Link is correct.

And yes, move to Bora Bora – at least we’d be a little closer (swoons).

August 29, 2008 at 4:29 amFitarella you make me laugh.

August 29, 2008 at 5:29 amA poet with awesome abs! Aren’t we blessed to know you! Love the to do list and the positivity blog is where I will go now when I’m feeling negative. I don’t drink these days but the phones are cool 🙂 When everyone is out at bars, I’m sleeping off a full day of poopy diapers, cooking, cleaning, and my new love of working out!
MizFit says
August 29, 2008 at 5:33 amand annette?
YOU NAILED IT.
Perhaps accidentally.
My overarching life mission statement hath nada to do with abs or vascularity or triceps.
But does have to do with poems.
poetry of far more silly nature than the above (a seussiansilversteinprelutsky longing. With titles such as UNDERPANTS!) but wanting to spread poems none the less.
And I’m with you.
The ‘oooh I’m drinking’ these days is when I sneak a chug of Diet Whatevs (now in plastic bottles!) & try not to let the Toddler see….

August 29, 2008 at 5:40 amOh hell-o
Have I mentioned that I love Phelps’ freakishly long torso? Oh but I do. And I haven’t seen that photo yet (although I did see the footage of that race)
rawr rawr (I’ll get around to actually reading the article eventually. If I don’t fry my computer from all the drool)
MizFit says

August 29, 2008 at 6:11 amJeez Woman! What other talents have you got hidden up those sleeves of yours (invisible sleeves, that is, because you wouldn’t want to cover those fabulous arms)? We are truly blessed to be in your (cyber) presence.
Love the poem. Will have to check out the links later. Gotta run (literally). = )

August 29, 2008 at 6:17 amCan I request Haiku for some future Friday? I loves me some goodbad haiku.
The to-do list and the slydial will be incorporated into my life. Love ’em.
And I already heart the Phelps. In all his disproportionate freaky glory.

August 29, 2008 at 6:38 amI LOVE the poem. And I love the links.
Especially the nowdothis link. It told me take a nap. How can you NOT love a link that tells you to take a nap? I mean really.
Definitely keep the poetry coming! Giggles and awestruck admiration for your rhyming/linking abilities are always a good start to the day, and the weekend. 🙂

MizFit says
August 29, 2008 at 6:45 amwell good, V, cuz you’re stuck with the poetry until I get the balls, errr, chutzpah to film myself linkrapping.
Which, now that I think about it, you’re forever spared due to the fact you can’t *click* on me!

August 29, 2008 at 6:58 amThe Cat Patio is awesome…especially since we are cat-sitting my parents cat right now. Listening to the tales of my parents trying to get Frank into the carrier makes me POSTITVE that he would love to sit in a freakishly small box to get a little fresh air.
I do like the to do list. I might use that today to spice up the work load!
Debra says
August 29, 2008 at 7:10 amLove, love, love the sly dial. I will use it today. I have just the sales person in mind.

August 29, 2008 at 7:11 am*raises hand sheepishly*
TA wasn’t the only one who thought the drinking apps were drinking GAMES. Which seemed like kind of an odd post for you Miz, but I figured, whatever.
I also take cover behind older days as a 24-hour-party-girl! LOL (Actually I think if I had to guess, the last time I played a drinking game, it was a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”-based one.
Ooh, look! I showed my nerd roots and my bad habits all at once! I should get a prize for that!
*dies laughing*
MizFit says
August 29, 2008 at 7:17 amMarste? You still an ex-soiree sister BUT, in rhyme, it is more of a mystery what the links shall hold, huh?
Let’s pretend that’s half the fun (wink).

August 29, 2008 at 7:25 am“Now do this” cracked me up! Did you make that list or is it random? And I agree with Fitarella – nice sunny day, happy kids and MizFit’s poetry: nothing could be better! Yay for positivity!! 😉

August 29, 2008 at 7:26 amLove the cat patio – Bad Cat has somehow developed a let me out SCREECH that sounds like he’s screaming! It’s QUITE charming – should record it and let you all have the pleasure of listening to it. over and over and over….
MizFit says
August 29, 2008 at 7:28 ammay I laugh, charlotte, that the TO DO list link baffles the linker.

August 29, 2008 at 7:50 amI just turned 21 a couple months ago and I’ll “indulge” in a jack & coke, or a glass of red wine, but one drink pretty much does it for me.
The boyfriend actually met Phelps a while back, said the guy was a jerk (and boyfriend doesn’t say anything like that without having really good reasons), but again, he won so many gold medals, maybe he earned it?
MizFit says
August 29, 2008 at 7:54 amI do giggle, tricia, that REALLY how many of us women would even notice the Phelps were he the goober guy next door.
Methinks about four 😉
And the jerk thing? Who know, but I do think you need a certain amount of I’m FINEFANTASTICAWESOMEIKNOWIT!! to make it to the olymic level, huh?
Reason # 5432431232 I never shall…..

August 29, 2008 at 9:00 amIf Phelps were the goober next door though, would we get to see him in a speedo as much as we do now though? Just a though 🙂
Maybe we should make it mandatory for it to happen on a regular basis…just so we know 😉 Oh, wait. Maybe not….I shudder to think of some of my next door neighbors wearing speedos. Mean, but really…we’re not all meant for speedos!

August 29, 2008 at 10:09 amWhat is up with the kitty thinger?? I am having a hard time wrapping my brain around it… is it for indoor cats? But then why does it lead yoru cat outside? Did you mean outdoor cats? Has any cat gone into that thing? Just out of curiosity? And got killed?
T says
August 29, 2008 at 10:14 amthe cat window would make our lives easier (silly furball), but seeing as we have so many random neighborhood cats … some of which i’m not sure belong to anyone, i don’t think we’d want any of those coming in the house.

August 31, 2008 at 8:54 amOf COURSE I am relishing every minute of reading Don Quijote, especially since it is not only archaic language, but archaic language in my on-native language… and I am of COURSE so excited to be writing 5 papers and lots of response essays on the book…
*Lying through her teeth!* Like you said, I am barely making it through… and it’s only the first week! Ahhh!!!
