Im not certain I shared any illuminating new insights on the radio this morning —but Felicia and Irene definitely did (actually I am certain. I didnt. but you’ll have that your first radio-time. Im surprised that I find television easier. I think it’s the ability to *see* the other person. duly noted.).
The show is archived HERE and, should you need some extra motivation this weekend, I urge you to check it out.
Felicia? AMAZING.
Be sure to listen next week when Diana will be on talking about alternative workouts when you absolutely, positively do not want to hit the gym.
(love the scale junkie. I’ll definitely be tuning in.)

October 11, 2008 at 8:39 amThanks for participating! It was too much fun and too short! You are always entertaining and enlightening.
I always need motivation on the weekend. This weekend I am determined to eat right. I don’t care that they are selling fried dough at the fair. I am going to eat healthy the next 2 days if it kills me.
LOL!

October 11, 2008 at 9:30 amYou were great! You’re such a natural–down to earth and real and inspiring. I loved the way you were honest about the need to be flexible with family demands etc, but how you can still maintain fitness.
And I bet you’ll kick ass in those body building contests one day.

October 11, 2008 at 2:56 pmI need to listen…I forgot about it!
I remember my first time on the radio – it was a local talk/call in show about domestic violence and the shelter I worked in. My boss dropped it in my lap at the last minute (probably knowing I would have found a way to get out of it with notice). The regular host was on vacation and they brought in the previous (retired) host. She was elderly and perhaps a little dementia? While I was talking about the options available to victims she started babbling about how she kicks her hubby’s a$$ when he doesn’t behave and then talked about how a woman should “take a page from The Burning Bed” or buy a gun if a man beats her. Then she asked me if the woman couldn’t get off on self defense. After I picked my chin up off the floor, I did manage to get through the rest of the show but that was quite an experience! I made my boss buy me lunch that week to make up for sending me to talk to the crazy lady on the radio.

Totally relate with the freshman 15. Who are the people that lose weight because there are so many of us who gain lots? Me I had the freshman 50!
