I’d say this is kind of a rehash—but so is my life.Β And, if you skim read carefully, you’ll see it’s not a repost.
My life is simply Groundhog’s Day.
A Day in the Life of MizFit:
Immediately after waking I head here (yes it’s the crack of dawn. no I dont set an alarm. Im a firm believer in the notion if Im not up-at-crack & excited for the day I must need more sleep. Im always up-at-crack)
Once Ive grabbed that I head here and work for a couple of hours:
Why YES! My desk *is* stunningly clutter-free (wink) & kind of blah but I have an amazing mural to my left which totally sparks my creativity:
Next, when there’s about 30 minutes or so left before Ren Man departs for the day, I stop working & head over to the cardio center for a workout:
After that things take a turn for the predictable.
We may hit the playground.
Or hula hoop.
Or do some carpet roller skating if it’s already hothot outside (Id like to blame the carpet on the Tornado– but sadly it’s my arse which tends to spontaneously slam to the ground. We started skating 2 weeks ago & before that it had been 18 years since I’d skated. FYI it’s NOT like riding a bike—-at least for me.)
Some days we’ll head here:
and do this until they yell at us:
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nur4VFlbZ8c
(alas, Im not joking about the yellage. Im a great role model!)
Then it’s play time again:
And yes. These are oft worn OUTSIDE the domicile as well:
Some days we take photos merely as hints for Ren Man as to what we’re desiring:
And if it’s raining:
We’ll head back inside to play:
We’re happier when it’s sunny and we can take the PRINCESS (insert *eyeroll* here) ball outdoors:
Often I’ll let the Torndao practice her photography on a sweaty, messy me:
Sometimes my day then begs calls for this:
Though I do try valiantly (if by ‘valiantly’ you mean 3 or so times per week—which I do) to opt for this (my beloved frozen MetRx shake):
Then, if it’s Shabbat like today, we’d head off to get flowers for the Ren Man:
Some days we terrorize the local Barnes & Noble for aΒ bit…
if only you could hear her screaming: DANCE MAMA DANCE as she took my picture…
Until it’s FINALLY time to start winding down for the day:
Then the nighttimeroutineGLAM ensues (dinner, TornadoRebelling, bath, TornadoRebelling, books read, TornadoRebelling) until she’s asleep.
Then it’s back to this:
And usually some time spent with this (sans Tornado):
Until this comes home (& we hang until bed):

October 16, 2009 at 3:08 amCute photos! My 3 year old son stood beside me as I scrolled down and commented on each one. Alas, he has a tendency to mumble so I’m not sure what he was saying. All I could make out was that he wants your daughter to come over to play, and he kept shouting, “Look! Look, Mommy!” while pointing at your tattooed leg. LOL!

October 16, 2009 at 10:39 amI don’t set my alarm… I pretty much wake up after I’ve had my eight hours sleep. Usually that is by dawn. Dawn comes rather late right now! If I fail to wake up, I have Tablet, the alarm clock kitty to do the job.
Then I grab a glass of water and head to my computer for a little bit. Not for long today though, the sun is out. Just waiting for it to warm up a tad.

October 16, 2009 at 7:27 pmI loved reading about a day in your life, and have I told you that you inspired me to switch to decaf? I realized it wasn’t so much the coffee I loved, but that morning ritual of having a hot beverage – just me and my coffee. Don’t miss the caffeine at all.
