We brought our princess magic with us to the hospital…
And then when all was said & done (if by said and done you mean WHO KNEW THERE WOULD BE A POST-OP FREAKOUT by the Tiny Dictator? She.Strong.) we went home & had some more princess fun:
Thanks again for all your thoughts, prayers & tips-for-surgery.
To my SHOCK this whole thing slowed her down not-at-all (nary a nap yesterday after being up at 4, surgery, & lottsa pain-meds) which is the perfect segue into the fact Im over here today talking about raising kids who like to exercise & be active.
Whether it was all my doing or not—-the Tornado is a living example of that.
Have a great weekend.
I know that we will.

October 24, 2009 at 6:27 amI’m so glad everything went well! What a strong Tornado!!!
And I love seeing the princess gear! 🙂 I wasn’t allowed to have anything “girly” growing up, so I love getting my “fix” by looking at it… I always thought I’d have a daughter and could buy “her” all the things I had ever wanted… It’s probably a good thing I have two boys…. 😉
Have a great weekend!

October 24, 2009 at 7:14 amI do get to share the tent…tho am so bent into quarters thus far I have no photographic proof of that fact :).
and andrea? thats exactly why I let her have barbiepinkprincesscr*p—–I figure why fight it?
and I KNOW if I did it would all backfire on me into a rebellious 22 year old who wore princessgarb 24/7.
(which actually could be kinda fun…)

October 24, 2009 at 8:21 amNow you can breathe easy 🙂
Kids should get a lot more credit than they do for their strength and ability to pick themselves up immediately… it seems as though we lose that skill as we get older…
