Yes, People, I’m officially a kind-sorta foodie blogger.
I’ll give you a moment to digest that (rimshot?) before I continue & clarify.
Ok.
Ready?
Im less of a foodie blogger I guess and more of a recipe reviewer.
The folks over at Ready Set Eat asked me to join them as a contributing reviewer & I will freely admit I leaped at the chance.
I love they reached out to me for my insights as a mom who strives to lead a healthy life, stay fit, & drag her family along the proverbial way.
I love I am was allowed, no, ENCOURAGED to be completely honest in my feedback about the meals.
I LOVE, whether I adore a given dish or not, the whole experience will get me spending time in the kitchen with the Tornado & out of the GrillSteamServe rut Ive been in as of late.
(pauses as I realize this whole endeavor is a shock to those of you know know me well.)
The site is still in its launching stage so, for now, please to just enjoy my thoughts & muzings on the dish pictured above.
DiZclosure: My reviewing is indeed a paid endeavor. The groceries purchased, massive mistakes made & opinions proffered are all my own.
WOW! I am excited about YOUR new endeavor…new recipes and a place to go that FITS with one of my goals. Just another reason to keep showing up…
Congrats Miz!
I, too, am all for anything which gets me cooking more and eating out less 🙂
(For other people you need to click through and then skim down to see Miz’ review.)
I can’t tell you how much I love this!!
Now you are a full-service MizFit from fitness to food 🙂
Have a great weekend.
I think you’re the perfect review-er. Because you’re honest and helpful. Watch out! It’s the next Martha…
I think shocked would be if they hired you to create the recipes! 🙂
I’m so excited for them LOL.
So awesome!!! 🙂
I will just pause and enjoy that cute chef in the picture.
I loved your DANGER! Be careful! line 🙂
That’s all I seem to say these days in the kitchen too.
I am in such a cooking rut. We are eating way too many meals with my fall-backs of tacos, chicken quesidillas, and spaghetti. This looks like a cool site and I love that the recipes are quick and healthy.
Curious: will there be a way to filter and immediately find just the recipes you’ve reviewed?
Thanks.
good question Bonnie. I’ll look into that…
Mmmm, food. Can I be the official taste-tester? Cheers, Rick
What a great gig!!! Congrats, Miz!!!
That’s awesome! Congratulations Miz. There are certainly worse gigs than reviewing recipes 😀 Tasty.
Awesome! That chicken looks really pretty simple. I’m always looking for tasty and healthy but still simple recipes. Because I just have a tn more important things to do than spending hours in the kitchen every night. 😉 This is really cool, congrats!
Very cool:) That recipe sounds yummy. My teen would never eat the tomatoes!
I love seeing people getting in the kitchen with their kids! My mom definitely encouraged me to help her in the kitchen and it truly made me appreciate what we were eating and eating healthy/well in general. What a fun gig
Yay Miz!
Way to represent our Tribe!!
I’ve been lurking on your blog now for several weeks – playing catchup so to speak by reviewing the archives. What I’ve found is that what you’ve got going on in here is truly awesome, but I’m thinkin’ you (the collective and the specific) already know that.
Anyhow, I truely adore this new endeaver of recipe reviewing, and think it fits in perfectly with your entire outlook on life.
Add me to your list of Bumblin’ Band members!!!
Congratulations! I think it’s great that they’ve asked such a busy and HEALTHY mom to partner with them!
Thanks for your review. I had pulled the receipe off the site – but hadn’t made yet. The “can wait for hubby factor” is an important one!
I love the site. Can we request you review specific recipes?
I’m curious and lazy 😉
Awesome! Off to peruse the site.
What a nifty gig, and a wonderful way to involve the Tornado in learning how to cook!
I could probably provide valuable insights into the Pringle company but they haven’t reached out to me. Yet.
Please let me know if I can help in any way 🙂
Yay for food bloggin!
And that recipe sounds quite easy and good 😀
I didn’t see your review over there…. but the recipe does look yummy! Can’t go wrong with basalmic! Or with an adorable sous chef;)
Does this mean we can expect new t-shirts with the saying “I am my own superhero sandwich”? Huh? Congrats, Miz!!
Nice. I want to be like YOU when I grow up.
Winks & Smiles,
Wifey
MMM, Chicken with Tomatoes; I am not a big Balsamic fan so go lightly there please 🙂
Way to go on the gig over at Ready Set Eat!
