Yes, People.
You read that correctly.
I have a ticket to Fitbloggin‘ to give away.
While May feels eons offย it blows my everlovingMisfitmind that the conference is just two months away.
(& given the fact I dont have a plane ticket for you I suddenly realized you might need a *heads up* & time to buy that thing in advance so Id best get to posting)
Suffice it to say Im excited for the conference.
Way.
I’m key-noting, other paneling, ice-breaker exercise leading AND fitness demo’ing with the amazing UGI.
Which brings me back to the point of this post:
I have a free ticket to give away.
And the fact that as soon as Roni told me I could host this give what I immediately thought was:
There will be strings attached, People.
Assistant-type strings.
You see, I’ll be doing a fitness demonstration with the UGIFIT:
I’ll be chatting & doing a few exercises (& inviting you up to do the same!):
(The pic below is for no other reason than I hope I clean the house before I go & *pick up* those pink shorts from the floor.ย nice huh?)
The thought of doing this all sans someone to giggle with sidekick made me feel like this:
Sure, this one thinks shes coming to help, but I believe Ren Man has other plans for her that weekend.
Which leads me back to you.
Fraught with excitement and hoping you’re as giddy as am I.
I have a free ticket for you to Fitbloggin *and* whoever wins can come (pleaseplease?) and hang with me as I do my Ugi-demo too.
You can help me keep things rolling & assist in getting the lone listener teeming masses to pay rapt attention.
You can be entered to win for the low low price of a comment below:
If you were to win the ticket whats the FIRST thing you’d do upon arrival at Fitbloggin 11?
Be honest. Be silly. Be sentimental. Be snarky.ย Be you.

March 22, 2011 at 3:14 amoh.my.goodness. If I went to fitbloggin’ I’d probably just go bonkers (that’s about the best way to describe it)
First I would freak about meeting all the people whose lives I read about online and introduce myself like I know them already even though we’ve never met.
And then… I don’t know. I would try and do anything and everything. All at once. Immediately.
And then probably crash. It would be very similar to a kid at Chuck E Cheese
Lu says
March 22, 2011 at 3:21 amI’d drop and give you 20 for real push ups! Also, I would take advantage of all the available knowledge in support of making fitness a part of my lifestyle for good. I’m always looking for ways to mix things up.

March 22, 2011 at 3:30 amThe very first thing I’d do?
I’d run up to my hotel room, change into my workout clothing and sneakers and then revel at the chance to run around all weekend in my workout gear! I have to dress up for work but always feel my best in my workout clothing, so it would be a fabulous way to start the weekend.
And then I’d start making my way through the crowd to meet as many people as I could.
(I’ll totally help with the demo, too, although you’ll have to be kind to me. I’m getting stronger, but still an intermediate at best when it comes to strength!)

March 22, 2011 at 7:19 amOh my if I won I’d jump up and down. The first thing I would do when I got there is check out the schedule and plan out my days. I love conferences and picking out my options, it gets me going. Following that I’d be social! Love meeting new people and learning new things! Fitblogging is actually quite close to my house, but tickets were too pricey to fit in my budget this year ๐
Keep on rocking ๐

March 22, 2011 at 8:06 amI hardly ever enter giveaways because I never win. But now that my blog is back up, I figured a comment on your amazing site might get me a little bit of traffic. March 22, 2011 at 8:17 amOoh, ooh, ooh, pick me! Financial reasons are why I have not signed up for this year, but if I were, by some wonderful miracle of miracles, picked, I’ll be there with bells on. (And if that is a requirement upon me winning, yes, I will well bells. Cow bells, jingle bells, you pick.)
First thing I would do… well, I’d have already done my prep work before hand so I’d know how many awesome bloggers I “know” would be there and make a list of everyone I’d want to meet.
And hey, if you need a fat guy to do the plank (even in front of a crowd – I’m not shy), I am your man. ๐
Deb says
March 22, 2011 at 8:31 amI have a ticket (I plan ahead)… but maybe I could sell it?? As I would love to be your giggling assistant.
And I already know the first thing I’m doing at FitBloggin (after landing, checking in, washing my face…)… you know the fun thing I’m doing:
I’M GOING TO THE ORIOLES BASEBALL GAME.
One more stadium off my life list.
keyalus says
March 22, 2011 at 8:35 amI would break out some dumbbells and do a few quick pushups to pump up my arm muscles so I wouldn’t be embarrassed to be on the stage with your amazing arms! Hmm…I should probably oil them up too!
I am a very good demo assistant! I always have to give the exercise demos at my morning bootcamp.
Kris @Krazy_Kris says
March 22, 2011 at 8:41 amWell – for me…. the FIRST thing I would do would be some serious mattress dancing! Plus I would bring matching “mizfit” & “krazy_kris” t’s and would assist you by carrying the UGI, jump ropes, water bottles, flip cam, tripod, kettlebell, foam roller, yoga mat, iPad, snacks & lipgloss.
I would certainly be very helpful ๐

March 22, 2011 at 8:53 amOh man if I won I have no clue what would be the first thing. I’d probably wonder around aimlessly then head straight into all the action! I’ve been dying to go since forever so I’d be super excited!!
Honestly, you might here me pull up in my little hooptie singing (screaming) on the top of my lungs and totally embarrassing myself in all my glory. Ahh the joys of excitement ๐
Plus, to help you with a demo would be an ultimate honor and priveledge.
For whoever the person is that wins, I know it’s going to be epic.
Deanna @ The Unnatural Mother says
March 22, 2011 at 9:24 amSO MUCH FUN!!! The first thing I’d do when I arrived at Fitbloggin, I’d check in the hotel and read a book unbothered for a good 30 minutes! March 22, 2011 at 10:14 amWell, since my family lives in Baltimore and I’m 3,000 miles away, I’d have to call them first thing! ๐ Plus, it’d be a great excuse to go see my nephews! The second thing I’d do would be to geek out over all of the “famous” bloggers in attendance!

March 22, 2011 at 10:31 amGoing to FitBloggin would be awesome!
First thing I would do is introduce myself to at least a dozen tweeters that I’ve been seriously stalking!

Thanks for the opportunity!

March 22, 2011 at 10:47 amWait, what? Get a ticket to Fitbloggin’ and hang with you, too? DOUBLEWIN! OMG!
Um, first thing I’d do? Hug the crapola out of you!!! Then go for a run. And then cry.
No, no. Honestly? I might actually cry first. You see, in my youth it was easy to stay in shape,I was just that active person, running for fun, eating whatever and metabolism high as a kite. After getting pregnant with metabolism-killing bedrest, it’s been a battle ever since (you know this). And since ’09, I’ve been able to win the war, however, I’m not there yet, and lately it’s been another battle on a different front – the more I run/strength-train & eat well, the more I’m seemingly gaining. My clothes are beginning to not fit again, and I feel the best I have in years, and it’s SCARING me – what the hell? I need in-person help, I think. Someone to shake me and tell me what I’m doing wrong, or right, or both. And being surrounded by the AWESOME this conference will bring will shake me into reality and into what I need to get on the RIGHT track to looking AWESOME like you. Cuz, I still wanna be you when I grow up. And? I really want to go to Fitbloggin’.
Jess Perreca says
March 22, 2011 at 11:18 amTo be completely honest I’d probably get all emotional because I’ve finally gotten the opportunity to be there. I know you can all laugh at me….lol
Then I would find you and Roni and thank you for allowing me to be there and for putting on this event.
To date I have lost 45 pounds on a journey to lose 200+ These are the things that motivate me to want to go forward.
I really want to be there for the learning experience of it all, but most importantly to meet and connect with everyone.

March 22, 2011 at 5:04 pmObviously I would go buy a big ole pack of sharpies because being MizFit’s side kick would result, I am QUITE sure, hundreds of thousands of autograph requests. Although, I don’t know, you probably could outrun any weirdo attackers…..
But, I digress.
The point is. It would be too cool to be your misfit…um I mean MizFit Sidekick. I’d need a cool nickname and outfit though. I do refuse to wear a uni-tard. Just can’t do that. No way. Nope.

March 22, 2011 at 5:32 pmOhemmmgeeee! What would I do first? Hug somebody? Stalk somebody? Run around the hotel like a mad woman? Lie spread eagle on the bed and enjoy the silence? (mother of two preschoolers) I guess the real question is what wouldn’t I do! I’d so do it all and then some!

March 22, 2011 at 5:34 pmLOL!! I am a busy stay at home mom to three crazy monkeys (boys). If I were actually able to go to fitbloggin (free ticket) I am not sure what would be the FIRST thing I would do:
1. go for a SOLO run by MYSELF!
2. find some of my favorite blog authors and pick their brain as well as be a bit shy in their presence
3. eat a nice QUIET meal ON TIME and HOT (desired temperature) that is healthy… (not left over crumbs/scraps from my children)
4. Nap?
LOL!

March 22, 2011 at 6:07 pmThe very first thing I would do when I arrived at Fitbloggin11 would be to figure out what the heck UgiFit is and what kind of clown costume you’d make me where to be your assistant for the demo! I can handle the giggling part and even a few snarky comments in the background if deemed appropriate, not to mention i’m not the most coordinated person so this could be a good, presentation! I’m usually good at demonstrating what NOT to do ๐
From there i’d probably go cry, laugh,, break out in a few zits and hyperventalate into a brown bag and thank you over and over for the next 48 hours, months, days, years… for choosing me to come to my very first blogging event!

FutureFitGirl says
March 22, 2011 at 6:21 pmI would die of excitement. OK, maybe not really, but I would at least pinch myself to see if it’s real. Then I would go introduce myself to as many folks as possible, trying to find all the girls & guys that have inspired & motivated me on my journey and helped me lose weight and get more fit. And then I would probably thank them and cry at the same time – It would be a good cry. Dealing with severe hypothyroidism, losing weight is harder than hard. But, it’s been with the amazing inspiration and motivation of all the other fitbloggers that I have been able to CHANGE MY LIFESTYLE and see the scale finally reflect that. So, I would want them to know how much I sincerely appreciate their honesty… the baring of their souls. How much I look forward to hearing their successes, and how much I look forward to telling them mine. Because without that, I know I would have fallen back into unhealthy ways.

March 24, 2011 at 5:53 pmI’d be so happy to win. I just heard about Fitbloggin’ recently and would love to go!
First, I would find you and get to know you a little. I’d find out where and what time your class is, so I could be there to help you.
Then I would try to be me … totally me, happy to be alive and fit, after almost dying and almost losing my leg in an accident.
Doctors didn’t know if I would ever walk again, but today I walk, run, bike, kayak and do yoga. So I would mingle and encourage people to never give up being fit and healthy even if they have major obstacles to overcome.
