There’s no school today and, as a result, my plan was to LIVE *not* blog about life.
That’s still the plan, however, I had to share the happy-fact the pink gloves spontaneously returned.
Wholly out of the blue.
As in I had no idea she knew where they were.
And, as with all things age six, Im all too aware this is most likely fleeting.
Ephemeral.
Im off to enjoy them as long as they last.
(not sure what kind of mishegas Im referring to? the PINK’splanation is all here.)
Oh, and BTW?
Im adding to my … uh … ‘pink gloves‘ next week.
Consider this yer foreshadowing.*
*see mom? and we thought I never used my English Lit degree!

October 8, 2012 at 6:10 amI either somehow missed or, more likely with my post-menopausal brain, read, loved and forgot the earlier pink glove post. What an inspiring child the Tornado is!
It reminds me of the Batman obsession I had as a little girl, when I used to wear a batman shirt and a purple cape (couldn’t quite get the sheet black with cheap dye) out in public, singing: Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na, Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na, BATMAN!!

October 8, 2012 at 8:36 amI love the concept of “pink gloves”…since having children, I’ve learned to let go with so many things…My concern with what others think of things I do (or how I look when I go to the store) has decreased!
Hope you guys have a wonderful day off – pink gloves and all =)
