People, the time has come.
I vacate this domicile in a grand total of TWENTY MORE DAYS (!).
It was lovely to ponder JOY and finite space—but it’s time to get down & dirty.
It’s time for hardcore, no nonsense de-cluttering.
Come join us.
Eleven by Venus is, indeed, a client.Β The fact I’ve let our house grow so CLUTTERED these past 18 months and *panic* as I use the six tips Ive created for her is all my own.

December 1, 2014 at 4:45 amGood luck to you, my dear! When my parents started having to declutter our house (of 30 years) we had to HIRE someone to help!

December 1, 2014 at 5:33 amI started to feel the same need this weekend even though I’m not vacating anytime soon. I actually unpacked/donated 3 boxes that I haven’t opened since we moved into the house 3 years ago.
Declutter away!

Good idea.

December 1, 2014 at 5:40 amCarla,
Good luck! We’re not moving yet, but we’ve slowly built up to a regular routine, and have been “reducing” for months! So my house has lost weight. π
It helped that we’ve been through this with my folks, which was much tougher.

December 1, 2014 at 10:51 amI moved a year and a half ago (a mile down the street) and should have used that opportunity to declutter. Instead I boxed up everything and it still sits, in boxes. You’ve motivated me to get this thing going. It’s my months’ goal! π

December 2, 2014 at 2:03 pmThere’s nothing like a move for the ultimate in decluttering. So worth it to avoid moving unnecessary stuff to clutter the new space.

December 6, 2014 at 8:01 amCarla – thanks for your sweet comment on Lori’s blog about the passing of my husband – I appreciate it!
And if we lived closer I would send you my 22 year old daughter to declutter – she’s literally an expert organizer, and I have no idea how she popped out of me because I am the complete opposite.
Hugs!
Biz

December 18, 2014 at 9:30 pmThere are not many better feelings than living a completely uncluttered life!
I love regular spring cleaning and downsizing. Simple living is really stress free living.
