Remember when your parents would bring you where they grew up and bore the everlovingeverything out of you?
How they’d draaaaag you down memory lane and force you to visit their old haunts while they reminisced?
Remember how you swore you’d never, ever, ever, EVER do that to your own kids (if you even had any because you were very very certain you probably definitely maybe would NOT)?
That’s what I’m doing.
This week.
With To the Child.
Have so much fun!!!
LOLOL
My parents did that to me every summer growing up.
They would drag me around Wisconsin showing me everything I didn’t care about ??
Have fun!
Weird.
The ?? show as emojis here!
Knowing you, you will be spending a lot of time with your child making new memories that she will cherish. Hope you have a wonderful time!
Oooooo have fun with that. I never really mind doing such things–especially now that I live so far removed from so much of my past!
Enjoy! And especially enjoy spending time with your parents. I miss mine so much.
Awesome 🙂 Have a blast! I spent years 1-10 in the same town my parents grew up in, so I never got that experience (it was all old news, haha) But I’m certain I’ll do it to my kids !!
Oh man. I used to be such an annoying child – throwing tantrums when I was dragged somewhere I didn’t want to be.
And then I grew up and realized how special those memories were.
Lucky for you, your little one seems to be MUCH better at following along than I was. Loved the matching sports bras!
Oh heck, I do that all the time with my boys. One loves it, the other–not so much! Have fun!
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!! So much fun. Life is so short! xoxo
My whole family is from Pittsburgh! Such a fun town.
Go to the children’s museum or the science center.
Haha! My mom still does this to me and then tries to say it was my idea 😉 Enjoy!!
lol! YESSSS! the hold haunts with the stories and driving by the old house where I used to live. I love doing that. Have fun, ‘lil lday!
Drag away, have fun you too.
omg, I was like “NOOOOO don’t say that, I did that to my boys and want to do it to my daughter!!” But since you are doing it, it must be cool 🙂 Have fun!
Hahaa! Join your life now. It is so fun.
My folks did that with me, and I had a great time!
Parents just want their children to know more about them: how they grow up, what they did when they were a child….That is a kind of education. And by that way, they also wanna find some remnant of their childhood.
