This week we are again starting with the freebie (yada yada yada the skimmers rejoice).
not only is this a treat I adore (& Im sure youre sensing a pattern here, but I only beg seek freebies from companies I love) the generous benefactor is also a boisterous member of the Bumbling Band.
Mamarunswithscissors has kindly donated this as our fab friday freebie.
I know it goes without saying that you MUST visit her shop and, once you get there, you’ll fast realize why I HEART her as I do.
Because she’s a loyal MizFit I asked her to share a little about herself.
I give you MamaRunsWithScissors:
i’m a stay at home mama to two boys (2 and 4.5) that does some crafty stuff on the side. i love to eat and fortunately love to exercise. running is my favorite and most consistent form of exercise but i also love to strap on my flame roller skates and push my boys in the stroller or have all of us jump into our station wagon of a bike for something a little different and fun!
I also wanna say how motivating i find all the mizfits. you all help get my butt in gear when i really don’t feel motivated so I was excited to donate a freebie your way!
As usual, you can enter to win the funky flames hat for the lowlow price of a comment below.
Onward to the links.
This first one is new-to-me (anyone else recall when NBC used that as their summer rerun promo? If you havent seen it—it’s new to you. I loved that. but I digress…) and Ive found it to be a wealth of foodformation. Seen it before?
This next link I entirely & totally long for (Renaissance Man? Ya got that? Someone’s birthday is coming. Please to do this on one wall—any wall—o’the domicile) and I promise I would use it every single day.
Our next link is a smidge more serious. The tag from Fitarella and this amazing blogger both have me pondering my life’s purpose (thanks for that).
In my opinion this is something which, as I continue to grow & change as a person, is ever evolving. As a result this post from ineedmotivation really resonated with me & kept me mulling long after I left the desktop (not an easy task).
(and I guess I am living my passion as I adore doing number four, here, on a daily basis)
and lastly, a silly.
I give you this.
(which I promise you is such a fun timewaster, but they’ve been having site problems. if it isnt working for you then GIT BACK TO WORK (*wink*) and stop by again later)

May 30, 2008 at 4:47 amHey, hey!
Looking at mamaruns’ stuff makes me want to get out my brand-new-at-Christmas-and still-in-the-box sewing machine. Another week and school is out – then I can sew! Cool stuff. I bookmarked “foodfit” so I can look at it closely later. The link I LOVED is the last one. Now I want to to do that with my family. Gonna have to dig out the old pics and see what I can come up with. Can’t wait. I bet my mom would love that, if I could get old pics/new pics of my bros and me…neat idea, but I can see how it might consume ones time.
Thanks for the good stuff!

May 30, 2008 at 4:50 amHi MizFit
I will read you lovely blog in more detail when I am home, but your comment about my list has just made me realise how negatively number 20 reads, so I have amended it (slightly) to explain more what I meant.
Thanks for making me do a double take and think about my wording.
Best wishes,
Sharon

May 30, 2008 at 5:43 amOkay, I got sidetracked by Mamaruns’ store and don’t have time to check out the rest of the links! I’m sure I’ll find some time later in my not-so-horribly busy day.
Happy Friday, everyone!

May 30, 2008 at 6:26 amOh wow ,that hat is too great! Christopher would totally love that, especially as a complement to his piratey tattoos and flip-flops. (I don’t know why flames and pirates go together, but somehow they do).
Cute!!

If I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollaaaarrrs) I’d buy us all hats (& we’d all be so glad ’bout that!).

May 30, 2008 at 7:01 amFirst off – I MUST find a way to try that body wall. If you get one, then the family vacation is at your house this year!
Secondly – how could I not love something called the hipster hat? I live for hipsters & cried when redstate/bluestate went under.

May 30, 2008 at 3:26 pmOh I want the wall. That is SO cool. Today I showed off at the geology field trip by being the mom who broke open rocks with a sledge hammer. I’m counting that, and chasing kids up and down the quarry pit for 3 hours, as my work out. Way cool hats, btw. Never could get my kids to keep hats on their heads.
Happy Friday everyone!

May 30, 2008 at 6:53 pmI’m a yearbook advisor at my highschool, and I showed my juniors the old/new pics – they liked it, and I think we might try to do something like that for yearbook next year!
The wall for me – no thanks…too much thinking involved for me.
