I love my Five Fingers.
Ive worn em to frolic in the grass.
Ive worn em to lift.
Ive worn em to amble slowly on the treadmill.
Ive worn em to stretch in.
Ive worn em to hang with the little people.
Ive worm em out for coffee with friends.
Ive worn em to various & sundry other appointments.
Ive worn em with the husband whilst he sported his.
And at long, long last I used em for their ‘purpose’ & took em out here:
To be continued…

July 1, 2010 at 6:12 amI want to hear all about your experience running in those! I am never going to go barefoot running on the roads with everything that could get stuck in my skin but those things look neat! I don’t know if I’d like the toe-separation, though.

This is a very cute post and you obviously had a lot of fun in these crazy shoes – I cannot wait to hear if you liked running in them!
Vegas would be fun…my husband would totally be up for a trip there; not sure my check book nor my legs would be so soon after Galveston (and another beach trip that I’m not mentioning yet!).

July 1, 2010 at 8:06 amI really like mine. However, in this Texas heat, I don’t think I’d want to stand in a parking lot for very long–you can feel the heat radiate up through the thin soles. Walking across a parking lot isn’t a problem (I haven’t run in them yet).

July 13, 2010 at 9:18 pmOkay…so tonight is the first time I’ve been to your blog. One of my new year’s resolutions this year was to work towards a more healthy body and lifestyle. I found your blog while looking for info on chia seeds. I think I <3 you! š
Anyway…so why I'm commenting on this post…
I LOVE LOVE LOVE VFFS!!! I have a pair of Sprints as well and am impatiently waiting on the arrival of my brand spankin new Bikilas! I first heard about vibrams in January. In May I bought my Sprints (I tend to research a lot before I buy and I was just starting out on my healthy lifestyle so it was hard to sink that much money in shoes that have toes!). I wore them EVERYWHERE until about three weeks ago when I added running (er…jogging really) in them. I have never been a runner and have always suffered from ankle, knee, and hip pain. I mean…seriously…the week I started running in them I ran my first 1/4 of a mile without slowing to walk. How sad is that?! I was overjoyed! So here I am 3 weeks later waiting for running specific VFFs so I don't wear out my everyday shoes!
Anyway…now that I've written a book for you I'll leave you with a grin and my hope that you enjoy your vibrams!!!
Meg
