Because really, People, even though I did criticize how slow they were to deliver what’s NOT to love about a Facetime dedicated to you?
Hey MizFit,
Thanks for that great review! You have just made my day. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do you for you or your readers. We are sorry the bars took so long to get to you, we were just swamped with orders.
I am happy to say we are above water again. Thank again for your support.

What a nice email, huh? Of course I had to respond (he asked, right?) that we’d all love a discount up in herre.
M,
Please let your readers know that if they say that you (MizFit) referred them then they will receive
expedited shipping (freshly made and shipped out within one week from when
they ordered) and they will receive 3 extra bonus bars in their box.
Thanks for everything.

There you go, MizFits.
I think even Miz. I Try not To Eat Bars Often But If I Do I Choose These is gonna order up another box as well.
Thanks Anthony. You’re now an official MizFit.

April 12, 2008 at 5:51 amThose YouBars sound awesome. I just placed an order, and I’m going to be waiting eagerly to get them. I didn’t see any easy way to ask for the special offer that was mentioned, so I also sent a separate email to them. Thanks for the great information.
PS — Will eating YouBars make me as physically fit as you are, or do I still have to exercise?
🙂

April 12, 2008 at 11:59 amI just discovered YouBars too, and wrote to them (about something else). I got a nice response as well.
I think they are just a small business of nice people who have created something far more exciting than they could have imagined, and so their ramp has skyrocketed much faster than their capability. It’s a good problem for a small company to have. If they get better at meeting demand, I have no doubt they will do well.

April 12, 2008 at 7:29 pmOkay, so I ordered some. I’m awful at Mongolian grills so I’m a little nervous.
When you name your bar, you have the option to enter “referred by,” which is where I entered MizFit.
For those considering ordering, with the three bonus bars and the $7.99 shipping and handling, it comes out to $3.19/bar, which is about the same as buying fancy protein bars in the store. Or a gallon of gas in MO. (sigh)
Hoping for yummy yummy bars!

April 12, 2008 at 9:28 pmWow, Heather – your gas is cheap! In some places in Canada they are paying $1.20/litre, which is almost $5.00 per gallon!

April 13, 2008 at 8:20 amMan, good customer service goes a long way with me. Same thing happened when I emailed a question to a company that sells laptop bags. They CALLED me with an answer. I ordered two.
I’ll be ordering YouBars now for sure!

April 14, 2008 at 2:49 amI just got an email back from Anthony Flynn of YouBars. It’s now 345 am Monday my time (Central), so I’m really impressed with their customer service. Wow! I don’t get service like that from Amazon.
BTW, I’m changing my blog and moving it over to blogsabouthealth.blogspot.com where I hope to get better organized in a few days.

April 14, 2008 at 9:46 amThanks for the tip – I have ordered NuttyNut Lextastic bars (and some of their favorites) and entered MizFit in the referred section. I’ll let you know what happens (and how yummy I find them).
