But far more important than that you frugal folks* get another chance to get in on the BOGO**-action.
Now, if you’re joining us for the first time via Hungry Girl’s newsletter or facebook page, please to know we are typically all kinds of grown up & composed.
I’m quite the mature misfit who tends to get the bulk of her exercise through non-traditional PLAYouts versus typical gym workouts.
I’m a long-term loser (35 pounds kicked to the curb 16+ years ago) who discovered her love of resistance training and hasn’t looked back.
I share all my best tips for workout success.
We chat maturely about fitness and mind/body health.
We debate the pros & cons of newfangled workouts and new just to *US* experiences.
Basically we do whatever it takes to make this healthy-living stuff fun & fit into our busy lives.
So grab a snack, snag a seat, & jump right in the MizFit-mayhem.
All we ask is you remain Unapologetically YOURSELF.
*I mock not. Im renown for my frugality and, when I miss the deadline for a sale or special-pricing, lamenting the aforementioned miss’age in perpetuity.
**Apparently my frugality did not extend into knowing acronyms so I shall pretend yours doesnt either. The first time I saw BOGO I had no clue it meant BUY ONE GIT ONE.
How awesome is that?! I really like your website. Congrats on losing the weight and keeping it off for so many years!! That is awesome. I’ll have to check out some of your workout tips for sure!
Have a great week!
Found you through HG’s newsletter yesterday.
Love your blog!!!
Hi Miz,
I’m a longtime reader and still found it interesting how you would describe yourself to a newbie.
Someone called you a fitness guidance counselor once and that is how I see you now too.
Congrats.
We just order and say what extra ones we want?
YES! just mention hungry girl at check out and say the free six pack you want. let me know if it’s confusing at all and I can help!
Congrats Miz!!
So nice to meet you this weekend and see you are as humble as you seem here.
Yay for our Tribe!!
Congrats, Miz!!! Maybe an HG and Mizfit collaboration on her cooking show, too??? I’d love that BOGO 🙂
This is so perfect!
I look to HG for my food info and come here for fitness.
Hooray for you, Mizzy!
I saw this and boasted that I ‘knew’ you to my roommates 🙂
Rocking rocking Carla!! Will you still talk to us the more famous you get?? Are you taking over for Oprah??? 😉
HUGE CONGRATS!
I loved seeing you in the HG email yesterday! GO YOU!! 🙂 So cool!
Congrats, Miz! Here’s wishing you hundreds of orders!
I was super excited to see you mentioned in there Miz!
I am like Jen and read everything Hungry Girl writes for my food information and come here and suck up all the fitness info and videos.
So proud of you~
Oh, *everyone* knows what BOGO means. I can’t think of a single person who ever stood in a store, scratching her Brazilian-bronze-with-caramel-highlighted head while running through her hooked-on-phonics lessons trying to figure it out. 🙂 Congrats on the mention!
WOW!!! I’ve been following Hungry Girl for YEARS. The Banana Bread recipe has changed my life. You’re such a star Miz. I’m so happy to ‘know’ you!
I have to agree with what other people said. I’ve read you and Hungry Girl for years now. She’s my food and you’re my fitness 🙂
So what? Hungry Girl signed some yogurt for me (really!)
The first thing I ever wrote for on-line was for a contest I entered to write a children’s story which I found out about on the Hungry Girl site! I’ve always been grateful to her for that.
wahoo congrats MizFit!! You are a rockstar and help so many people out. Keep on being the fabulous you!
I love it!! Both the Hungry Girl love and the frugality! I am the same way – both with the sale stalking and the acronym confusing…
Awesome!!! Congrats!!!! I didn’t know what BOGO meant either. 😀
As a new reader here, it’s nice to get an idea of what I’ll find here. Also, Banana bread recipe? Yes please!
Nice job, go get em girl!
What an amazing way to get the word out about your trainer cards! Congrats!
Impressively succinct recap.
I wouldn’t are convinced you should be working in loincloths made of dingo skin, as well as were able to come up with. When we realize it’s actually properly worth figuring out, it will be fantastic.
OK so I felt compelled to leave this spam. loincloths? made of dingo skin?
hmmmm 🙂
That is some pretty awesome random spam.
Restating what others have said 🙂
I love HG for food.
I love MizFit for fitness.
Of course she mentioned you!
At first I thought you meant payless. Dunnow why. I hope that this helps to spread your awesomesauce throughout the universe. For goodwill everywhere.
The other day I was at work.
And someone asked if I had lost weight!
And I said YES!
And then the lady told me I should start a BLOG.
(go figure)
Because she heard about someone named HUNGRY GIRL…..
Maybe if I read it, it would help me!
heehee – She was more right than she’ll ever know!
You go Glen Coco! But really, that is fabulous! Hungry Girl is truly wonderful and inspirational! You deserve it!
