But far more important than that you frugal folks* get another chance to get in on the BOGO**-action.
Now, if you’re joining us for the first time via Hungry Girl’s newsletter or facebook page, please to know we are typically all kinds of grown up & composed.
I’m quite the mature misfit who tends to get the bulk of her exercise through non-traditional PLAYouts versus typical gym workouts.
I’m a long-term loser (35 pounds kicked to the curb 16+ years ago) who discovered her love of resistance training and hasn’t looked back.
I share all my best tips for workout success.
We chat maturely about fitness and mind/body health.
We debate the pros & cons of newfangled workouts and new just to *US* experiences.
Basically we do whatever it takes to make this healthy-living stuff fun & fit into our busy lives.
So grab a snack, snag a seat, & jump right in the MizFit-mayhem.
All we ask is you remain Unapologetically YOURSELF.
*I mock not. Im renown for my frugality and, when I miss the deadline for a sale or special-pricing, lamenting the aforementioned miss’age in perpetuity.
**Apparently my frugality did not extend into knowing acronyms so I shall pretend yours doesnt either. The first time I saw BOGO I had no clue it meant BUY ONE GIT ONE.

May 24, 2011 at 3:53 amHi Miz,
I’m a longtime reader and still found it interesting how you would describe yourself to a newbie.
Someone called you a fitness guidance counselor once and that is how I see you now too.
Congrats.

May 24, 2011 at 9:03 amOh, *everyone* knows what BOGO means. I can’t think of a single person who ever stood in a store, scratching her Brazilian-bronze-with-caramel-highlighted head while running through her hooked-on-phonics lessons trying to figure it out. 🙂 Congrats on the mention!

May 24, 2011 at 1:29 pmThe first thing I ever wrote for on-line was for a contest I entered to write a children’s story which I found out about on the Hungry Girl site! I’ve always been grateful to her for that.
