Once upon a time MizFit had no search button on her website.
As a result, she was none to good at providing tags or descriptors for her posts (ahhh the early days. how she hath grown & matured since then. wipes a proud tear from her eye).
As she endeavors to change that she’s received a number of emails asking questions about topics she’s already covered but which are entirely too difficult to find.
So here they are.
Kinda sorta organized.
Just like their creator.
The abs ramble.
Some chatting about/defining of weight training sets and repetitions.
Sample at home shoulder exercises.
Why you should always remember to stretch!
Lunging (Blair Witch style as the Bag Lady deemed it).
My protein shake rant chat.
The Jen R. I Finally Found These For You clean eating post, what I like to nosh on & a snack suggestions snippet.
Lastly, for shits & giggles and there’s no way Im watching that clip again EVAH, the first facetime.
**Yesterday’s winner? Charlotte (cue confetti shaped like drawstrings & running shorts liners). Email me your address and the shorts & tee shall be on their way!

July 16, 2008 at 3:01 amUnfortunately that protein shake link has only put more questions into my head!! How WAS the pea protein, and what did you add to it?
I ask because I sent Boy off to get himself some protein powder (he is vegan and has shocking protein levels) so he could make a shake he liked. He picked up some PLAIN pea stuff.
He blended it up with soy milk and banana and I tried some and BLEEHHH. He’s still drinking it because he thinks it’s good for him but I KNOW he won’t stick to it unless he thinks its yummy which he clearly doesn’t either. I’ve got him chucking some frozen berries in now, but he’s said there’s still room for improvement….
…any ideas? I WILL prove to him that food is NOT a punishment!
Thankyou thankyou thanyou

I love that there is now a search button. You always have such great tips, but often I’m too lazy to put them into practice when I first read them. Then when I come back I can’t find ’em.
Now I can!

July 16, 2008 at 4:30 amYaay! It’s a bona fide research tool now. š Thanks for the links.

July 16, 2008 at 5:18 amNow you’re “all growed up”, as my friends would call it! OK, with us it still means we’re always a bit childish, but still.
Love the search button. I will be using it to return to links and videos often.

July 16, 2008 at 5:51 amthanks so much Jen.
I make not a cent from MizFit (yet. I know. I’m doing something wrong but I’m also a big believer in the Pay it Forward so I’m doing something right as well I hop.) And comments like yours make it all *so* worthwhile.

July 16, 2008 at 6:31 amI had a question about the pea protein too! I can’t find it anywheres… GNC didn’t like the “but MizFit says it’s real!!” that I pulled on them. Vitamin World had never heard of it either. Max Muscle had heard of it but didn’t carry it. You get yours online?
Thanks for the linkage. You’re going to hate me for saying this but I have long admired your biceps (coveted, actually) but my new love now are your triceps. You should wear tank tops year round. Even skiing.

And thanks Charlotte for your kind words….

July 16, 2008 at 7:44 amHere’s another question:
In my strength circuit I do not do anything exercises specifically targeting the triceps, biceps, and shoulders (a la Mizfit’s examples) Can I add them on odd days at home with free weights?
I’m not a fan of protein shakes either. Too much muss and fuss for me. I have to start mussing and fussing again “up in here” I think. I know it helped before.
Thanks for the Mizfit rewind. I liked.

And also, I am borrowing your theory – “I make not a cent … but Iām also a big believer in the Pay it Forward” I’m going to remember that for myself, too – since the only people who read my blog are my mom and a handful of others. But I love doing it anyway. š

July 16, 2008 at 9:13 amsyd, in my opinion, life is all about the karma (to use the term more in the My Name is Earl way than the proper way…).

I’ll add my .02… I keep your site on my tabs to motivate me to treat myself better. My arms are not like yours. They are, however, a lot less like great aunt Victoria’s. You did not want to be under her when she waved. A kid could get hurt…..
