Life feels crazy here these days.
Hectic.
More than ever I find I’m searching for mantras, meditation, and *anything* else I can think of to carry me through.
Sure, it’s mostly good-crazy (news to come! news to come!) yet, simultaneously, a little terrifying.
It’s type of nervous-excitement where I crave a touchstone.
A tangible reminder of the fact I’m bad ass.
I’m capable.
A physical reminder of the fact it doesn’t matter who else believes in me or who may think my goals too lofty—-I know I’ve got this.
This craving is what led me to DESIGNS THAT MOVE YOU.
I ordered a footnote shoe charm (I love shoe charms! Who knew?!).
And I love the company.
I wished I had Oprah money so I could buy out the shop and give them away (you get a charm! and you get a charm!!).
And an idea was born.
We’d sell the bracelet/charms and donate proceeds to a non-profit which encourages girls to be BRAZEN through words.
All my proceeds to GIRLS WRITE NOW.
Suddenly my tiny touchstone became far more powerful.
My bracelet & my shoe charms a reminder of the fact it isn’t all about me.
We are a tribe of women and girls (and the men who believe in us) striving to live bold lives and be unapologetically ourselves.
