I’m the Eggland’s Best Eggvangelist and the following is a sponsored post. The fact I BRAZENly brought my plush eggs to a soiree and immersed them in the fun is all my own.
My time as the blogger EGGVANGELIST hath come to a close.
We’ve had so much fun this year—-from hard boiling in a coffee maker (!) to snarfing ham baskets—I couldn’t end my reign brand partnership on a boring note.
I had some info I wanted to convey (all things in moderation! we can fit in summerFUN and STILL snack/eat healthfully!)–yet I wanted to send my eggs into the world with a soiree.
More aptly put, *at* a soiree.
An idea was born and we were off.
I’d say my friends were shocked I arrived toting Fresh and Natural—but they were not.
This year long partnership (perhaps to Oakland’s dismay) has not been all online.
I’ve yammered at anyone who will listen all about my Eggland’s love.
We arrived & checked out the food-offerings.
Fresh was delighted to see both healthy snacks AND chips.
It was a party!!
Fresh also believes–as we do–“indulging” can take the form of NON-FOOD stuff, too!
He was all over my friend’s swimming pool!!!
It was hot.
Really hot.
Natural decided to skip sun and hide inside (I’d never have joined him and indulged in a carbonated beverage….OK I did.).
After a cool-down Natural (yes. as with all identical twins only those closest to Fresh & Natural can tell them apart) hung out with this guy for a bit.
I spied some furtive planning happening and only later discovered they’re entering the Egglands Best Eggs recipe challenge.
I’m already planning how I’ll spend the 10,000 dollar winnings…
As the party continued it was soon time for snacks.
For sweets.
For hidden chickpea cake and red velvet cupcakes.
Fresh indulged happily.
Natural (fingerquote) indulged (unFQ) too.
A lot.
But I was driving to so it was ok.
All too soon it was time to go home.
We’d arrived, snacked, gossiped and played.
And I feared if Natural indulged any more he might end up in the fountain!! overstayed his welcome we might not be invited back.
After another swim and some baking in the sun we were on our way.
The five of us piled like clowns in a clown car into my super California electric vehicle and we on our way.
It was EGGciting.
It was EGGSactly what we needed.
An EGGcellent EGGSperience was had by all.

June 26, 2014 at 9:12 amHehe love it Carla! Your egg really did have an eggcelent time 🙂 So much fun! I remember my friends in England used to take a cardboard cutout of my head around with them on nights out. They would take it to the bathroom, and feed it drinks. The pictures they sent me were pretty funny! Love this….and I am starting to love eggs….slowly!
